In Good Company
Living in Beaverton, sometimes I succumb to the idea that you have to go downtown Portland in order to eat at a really nice place or have a really nice meal. But that’s not actually true.
I’ve been to the Hall Street Grill just once before, I think Andrew Kingsley was my date to the winter formal if I’m not mistaken, and it was really great then. Turns out it’s still just as great, as we found last night when we dined there with Julie and Dan. We were celebrating Dan’s recent accomplishment of finishing all his classes to get his MBA. Congrats Dan!
They left dear Audrey home with the grandparents and the four of us got to spend the evening together, which was really fun.
Eric and I ordered the pork loin special, which was served with fingerling potatoes and braised greens and it pretty much lit up my life.
Also recommended: their specialty drink “The Aristocrat,” and the house salad, which had toasted hazelnuts on top and some queso fresco. Quite fresco, indeed.
Thanks to Julie, who gives me a run for my money whenever she has a camera in her hand. She got most of these shots, which is why we’re appearing in our own blog post.

We need to do this again…soon.
Can’t wait to see more posts from your travels in Washington during the coming week!
